Principal's Message

I am honoured to present to you all the new Website of Don Bosco Technical High School, Monrovia, Liberia. We are proud of our progress and continued growth as a school community. We congratulate and thank Mr. Sakui, an alumnus of the school, for taking the initiative and developing the site.

Through the past years, the school has gone thought various stages of development. We are grateful to God for his blessings and providence. We thank and appreciate the contribution and support of our Superiors, the past principals, past and present administrators, teachers, parents, students and alumni of this institution. We gratefully remember all our benefactors and implore God’s blessings up on them. We look forward to your continued support as we enlarge our vision, set new goals and impart relevant instruction and real world application of knowledge to the young people of Liberia.

Like Don Bosco we believe that young people have tremendous capabilities and when channelized well they become a force for good. The young people learn through experiences and it forms the foundation of their lives and behaviour. Therefore, the process is as important as the product. We strive to provide a family atmosphere of cordiality and mutual understanding, promoting responsible freedom which enables mature choices and taking responsibility for once actions and choices. Discipline is an integral aspect of learning and growth and it help to develop self-control. Freedom can only be effectively exercised if it guided by discipline. We, therefore, endeavour to combine intellectual learning with skills development, hence, the name Don Bosco Technical High School.

We appreciate and thank everyone who joins us in this endeavour of guiding the young people and helping them form a bright future.

Yours Sincerely,

Fr. Sony Joseph Pottenplackal, SDB
